CONTEXT
How to hack a vending machine to release products remotely? What's more, how to make the vending machine talk and interact with the participants?
Solution
Bolha produced, in partnership with W+K, the Bis Zuêra Machine, a vending machine that uses the power of BIS to play with people. In a remote studio, comedians Léo Lins and Marcelo Adnet controlled the machine and interacted with the participants.
Circuits developed by Bolha were installed in the vending machine, which also received cameras, microphones, and speakers. The Zuêra Machine was able to transmit image and audio to a remote studio, where comedians played with the participants. The comedians' voice was modularized and transmitted to the machine. A web interface created for the project gave control to choose which props (or flavors of BIS) the machine should release.
