CONTEXT
Idealize the future of the Marte Favela, which would involve a major urban project, a pilot action to interrupt the cycle of misery and be a model for other communities in the country.
Solution
We developed an XR experiment that, using real 360º video images and synthetic images, creates a sense of time travel by presenting the transformation of today's favela into the favela of the future.
We captured, in 360º videos, of the favela today to represent the now. And based on the urban project, we created realistic rendering videos, using Unreal 5, to represent what the favela would be in the future.
With these two materials, present and future, Bolha and Accenture created an XR experience to be used in virtual reality glasses and also on cell phones by reading QR Codes at specific points in the favela - to be seen by residents, politicians, investors and influencers who are part of the project.
Favela Marte is the first to undergo a complete change of the Favela 3D project; this initiative is being led by the NGO Gerando Falcões and will include 240 homes in the community.
